Never

Some of us are lucky enough to find a rock in our life that we can swirl around, and to which we are allowed to return when we have flown too close to the stars. Perhaps that rock also resides inside all of us and is the piece that will remain through all stages of time. One day I will break into little pieces. Alone I will continue into whatever uncertainty eternity entails, and all the pieces of me will be scattered by the wind. Perhaps that rock, that grounded core, will become one with the wind, rather than scattered by it.

Prelude River

A prelude to River, a song about wanting to understand another person so deeply, so profoundly, that you wish you were a part of their soul, their mind, their body.

Take My Yoke

This song is a prayer and a plea for help in the darkest hours of anxiety. It aims to fill a void for all the people out there whose minds weigh heavy. An anthem for those who are hurting.

Hope

I wrote this song when I was 19, just having entered my first deep depression. This is to you who struggle to see the light. Life is a sea of waves. Just know that there will come a time of flow, though today might be viewed from the bottom of the ocean. I wish for this song to give you some hope.

Emeralds

A song about the search for something bigger. About reaching out for help, channeling our thoughts and feelings through something dear to us, a gem of our choice. Something that guides us back to ourselves. How do you come close to your inner voice? What is your emerald?
